Enzyme Kinetics

The construction of a Predictive Kinetic Metabolic-Flux (PKMF) model requires complete Michaelis-Menten and inhibition kinetic parameters for all enzymes in the pathway. We determined the Michaelis-Menten kinetic parameter (Km), the turnover number (kcat) and the catalytic efficiency (kcat/Km) for all 21 enzymes involved in monolignol biosynthesis in P. trichocarpa.
