The enzyme activities of the ten monolignol biosynthetic enzyme families were measured for total protein extracts of stem differentiating xylem for the wildtype and transgenic trees. Enzyme assays were performed following procedures described by Liu et al. (2012). Values show Specific Activity (nmol/min/mg).
