NMR Data

These pages contain results from the 2D-NMR analysis of lignin in wildtype and transgenic trees. Aromatics denote the types of subunits that make up the lignin in the wildtype and transgenic trees, while Sidechains describe the type of linkages that connect them. Click on either Aromatics or Sidechains to see results for each. The 2D-NMR analyses of lignin subunits and interunit linkage distribution were carried out at the University of Wisconsin by John Ralph et al., using a 750 MHz (DMX-750) Bruker Biospin (Rheinstetten, Germany) instrument.
