You have entered the LigninsystemDB (Lignin Systems Database) portal. This page serves as the interface for archiving and retrieval of LigninsystemDB data. The database is built on top of PostgresSQL, with the schema design shown in the Figure at left (click to enlarge). The database is designed to store data associated with: enzyme kinetics data for genes targeted in this project, constructs for transgene perturbation, qRT-PCR results for transgenic line selection; and for selected transgenic lines, the results of RNAseq transcriptome analysis, mass-spec proteomic analysis, metabolite quantitation, lignin quantity and NMR lignin structure analysis. These data have been used for statistical analysis and mechanistic and systems modeling of lignin biosynthesis.
